What is Zine PCA ?

Zinc Pyrrolidone Carboxylate (ZnPCA) is a metal amino acid compound designed by increasing synergy. It inhibits excessive sebum secretion and brings a fresh feeling to the skin and hair. It inhibits the degradation of collagen caused by ultraviolet rays and prevents skin aging.

Zinc Pyrrolidone Carboxylate Zinc PCA (PCA-Zn) is a zinc ion in which sodium ions are exchanged for bacteriostatic action, while providing moisturizing action and excellent bacteriostatic properties to the skin.

A large number of scientific studies have shown that zinc can reduce the excessive secretion of sebum by inhibiting 5-a reductase. The zinc supplementation of the skin helps to maintain the normal metabolism of the skin, because the synthesis of DNA, cell division, protein synthesis and the activity of various enzymes in human tissues are inseparable from zinc.

Function & Application

1.Inhibition of excessive sebum secretion: The body produces dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the action of 5α-reductase to stimulate skin formation and secrete sebum. ZnPCA reduces sebum secretion by inhibiting 5α-reductase.
2.reduce the degradation of collagen to inhibit the production of wrinkles: ZnPCA has the bio activity of inhibiting active protein-1, collagen is an indispensable important component to maintain skin firmness and prevent the formation of wrinkles, however it can pass the body's collagen degradation. Therefore, in order to suppress the formation of wrinkles, it is necessary to inhibit the production of collagenase. It is known that activated protein-1 (a complex protein composed of a small amount of protein units of AP-1) induces collagenase production by DNA binding in the nucleus.
3. ZnPCA has antibacterial activity.
